The Growing Housing Crisis in America: How Stagnant Wages Impact Homeownership (PT 1)

Smiling family stands in front of a pastel green house. Text reads "Where Families Begin Again!" and "Vintage Design: Tomorrow's Comfort, Built Today!"

Vintage Design is back to address one of the most pressing challenges in housing—affordability. While we've been celebrating milestones and refining business strategies, the reality remains: homeownership is slipping further out of reach for many Americans. With housing costs soaring and wages struggling to keep pace, we're actively contacting city, county, and state governments in Tennessee to prioritize affordable housing, hoping to spark a nationwide movement.

While Vintage Design cannot single-handedly bridge this gap, we can highlight the problem and drive conversation toward meaningful solutions. Housing affordability is not just an individual struggle—it's a nationwide issue that requires collective action. As Helen Keller once said, "Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much." To address this crisis, builders, policymakers, and communities must unite to rethink affordability, reimagine starter homes, and create lasting change.

With that said, we want to engage the audience. If you think that the cost of housing is outrageous, please comment, or give us a shout out at bolingenterprisesllc@gmail.com
